Many medications can also contain inactive ingredients used for coloring, flavoring, preservation, texture, or manufacturing. While these ingredients may serve a purpose in a formulation, some families prefer to minimize unnecessary additives when alternatives are available. At Bee Kind Pediatrics, we believe parents should be able to understand what they’re giving their child. That’s why our Clean Pharmacy prioritizes thoughtfully selected medications with simpler formulations when clinically appropriate and available.

Rather than treating every version of a medication as interchangeable, Bee Kind Pediatrics considers the complete formulation when selecting products for our Clean Pharmacy.
Where available, we prioritize options that minimize unnecessary:

- Fillers
- Other nonessential additives
Medication selection will always prioritize your child’s medical needs, safety, and appropriate treatment. When multiple suitable options are available, however, we can take the formulation itself into consideration.

When medications from our curated formulary are available directly through the practice, families may be able to receive them without adding another stop to an already stressful day with a sick child. This allows medication decisions to remain closely connected to your child’s care, with direct physician guidance available for questions about dosing, administration, ingredients, and what to expect.
When a preferred formulation isn’t available through our practice, we can discuss appropriate alternatives and help you understand what to look for.
